Among movers and shakers in Denver real estate, Jack O’Connor has to be on the short list. Not content with being just a top producer, this 35-year veteran of our highly competitive market co-founded Prestige Real Estate in 1999, then went on to found The Denver 100 in 2011. Under O’Connor’s leadership, The Denver 100 has quickly become a rising star.
As a CAR instructor and a national convention speaker for NAR, O’Connor is a mentor to many. I count myself among his grateful students.
We caught up with him at the CAR convention recently and asked him why he uses Mediamax for his real estate photography.
“High quality, quick responsiveness – those are the two things that I like,” he told us.
“I do fairly high-end brochures because my average price is higher and I can take those pictures that are done, download them quickly, get my brochures done in a fast manner,” he explained. For high-priced listings the brochures he does might run 15-20 pages, including photos and floorplans. So, quality matters.
“That’s what the clientele wants,” he said, “so the pictures give me an edge, frankly, over other productions that I’ve seen.”
O’Connor has worked with Mediamax Senior Photographer Jeff Davis for many years.
“I like working with Jeff because he knows exactly what I want.”
He also appreciates that Davis meets his schedule and turns the photographs around quickly – making it possible for him to get the home on the market “in a timely fashion.” In the end, that high quality and quick responsiveness that O’Connor demands “makes me look good in front of my clients.”
