Yes, the quality of the photos matters. It’s the No. 1 reason to go with Mediamax for professional photography. But there’s another very important reason to choose Mediamax and not somebody else. It’s customer service.
We recently did a shoot for Ray Tomsick, a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Real Estate of the Rockies broker associate and mortgage loan originator at MAC5 Mortgage Inc. But we goofed. We missed the panoramas.
Tomsick also wondered where his aerials were. Had we missed those, too?
Imagine how this situation might have gone if he couldn’t call our local help desk and get a real person on the phone. Imagine if he’d been told “We’ll get back to ya” or “We’re too busy.” We might have lost a customer.
As it was, we were able to get a photographer out to get correct the mistake the same day. We also were able to explain that the aerials were being taken by a separate photographer at a separate time, but he’d have them the next day.
“The little problems I had were taken care of immediately, and above and beyond what I expected,”
With 16 years’ experience as a mortgage broker and 10 as a Realtor, Tomsick has seen photographers come and go. His experiences with one of our competitors haven’t been so good.
“The photo quality wasn’t that great. Their web system to order stuff is not really as quick and easy as yours, and there was no customer service at all,” Tomsick says.
Tomsick says photos are “100%” important both for buyers doing their own research online and for his research as well. Even in cases where the property isn’t very photogenic, he says Mediamax photographers have done a better job than our competitor of “getting the right angles” and such.
In this case, Tomsick was so pleased, he put it in writing.
“I am blown away by how great your customer service is,” he writes, “and am more than happy as I love doing business with people that get things done and understand that if I, as an agent, tell a client something, my word is all I have.”
