Photographer Spotlight: Master Photographer Nate Koerner | Mediamax Photography | Photography, Video and Virtual Tours for Real Estate and Business

Nate Koerner’s motto is one you may have heard before: “Never look back, unless you are planning to go that way”, by Henry David Thoreau. For Nate, it really sums up his approach to his life and his work.

Nate says, “I really try to be present, be in the moment, and be relaxed.” He feels this philosophy makes him a better photographer.

Nate has been a professional architectural and real estate photographer for 15 years, and has photographed over 17,000 properties. This means that he has the experience to approach each unique photo shoot, and contribute a calmness and confidence to each situation.

What also helps is that Nate is a very empathetic person. Nate says, “Selling a house can be a stressful time for people and I want to quell that. I have the experience to know that they’re in good hands, and they don’t have to worry about this part of the process.”

Nate has been with Mediamax for 13 years and spends his days shooting commercial and residential properties all over Denver. Shooting commercial properties gives him valuable experience with staging and interior design that he applies on every shoot. He says, “I really consider myself a consultant on the way to show a property in its best light.”

He adds, “It feels good to know that I can walk into a house and give an agent or sellers valuable advice on what looks good and what doesn’t.” He also believes in treating people well and with integrity, and feels this attitude contributes to the solid relationships he has with his clients. Nate says, “I really value the relationships I’ve developed with my clients and many of them are like family to me.”

At the end of the day, Nate enjoys knowing that his work is helping people sell their homes. He says, “Photography is what I was meant to do. When you have a calling for something, there’s not many things out there that satisfy your soul like that. When you’re good at something and it helps people, you have to do it.”
