Featured Property: A traditional masterpiece in Park Hill | Mediamax Photography | Photography, Video and Virtual Tours for Real Estate and Business

For HomeSmart Cherry Creek agent Nina Kuhl, an opportunity to list a home like the one at 5130 E 17th Avenue Parkway doesn’t come along every day. Located in the historic area of Park Hill in Denver, this 1920s English Tudor style home is one of the gems that really make this neighborhood unique.

This home features quarter sawn oak floors, a handcrafted wrought iron staircase, with a gorgeous updated kitchen and master bath. One of the coolest things about this property is the custom plant wall located in the kitchen. The wall consists of 200 individually planted boxes that are watered automatically and set up with a complete system to provide them with light. The result is an impressive and stunning modern upgrade to this classic kitchen.

Nina’s strategy when approaching a home like this one is to minimize clutter and shift things around in order to highlight the original features and architecture. She works with her interior designer, Charlie Johnson of Blooming Lotus Interiors, LLC to showcase the home.  For example, they’ll use objects or add colorful accents to draw attention to the original flooring and moulding or beautiful arch window.

Nina worked with Mediamax photographer Ben Nelson and ordered our premium HD photos and a floor plan to bring out the textures and give online viewers a representation of the layout of the home. The result: the home went under contract in two days! You can check out the whole tour below.
