For more than 50 years, Andersen’s Foreign Car Service has done advertising the old fashioned way – mostly by word of mouth. A fixture on West Colfax between Lakewood and Golden for decades, this family business is where those in the know go for service and repair of Volvo, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen and other European makes.
But maybe it was high time for an old dog to learn some new advertising tricks.
“Everything you do these days is on the Internet,” notes Kurt Andersen, who works along side his two brothers and three employees in a business started by his father. With more and more customers getting their word of mouth electronically, he feels it’s important to have a strong online profile.
That’s why Andersen signed up for a Google Virtual Tour by Mediamax.
“People can see the shop, kind of walk through it and … hopefully get a feel for the place,” he says. He sees it as a great way to create that all-important positive first impression.
Photographing an auto repair shop was a little bit of a challenge, but Andersen is pleased.
“I think it turned out really well,” he says. He calls the whole photo shoot experience “very unobtrusive, very non-disruptive.”
Whether your business is well established or the new kid on the block, a Google Virtual Tour by Mediamax can help you build your online profile in a revolutionary new way.

P.S., Andersen’s location lent itself well to aerial photography, as you can see. Your Google Virtual Tour could be just the beginning of what Mediamax Photography Agency can do for you. Drop me a note to learn more.
