With HDR, it’s not about technique, it’s about the “wow factor” | Mediamax Photography | Photography, Video and Virtual Tours for Real Estate and Business

If you’re in the market for real estate photography, sooner or later you’re going to run across this term “HDR.” If you ask a photographer what HDR is you’ll likely get a geeky ear full that will tell you more about how it’s done than what it can do for your bottom line.

Some claim to have a proprietary HDR technique that others don’t. In fact, like roads to Rome, any number of techniques will get you to HDR. At Mediamax, we call ours Handcrafted HDR™ because HDR images take both expertise and artistry to create and each of our photographers brings something unique to the process.

“It’s the end result that matters,” says Master Photographer John Koliopoulos, “not how you get there.”

With HDR, he says, you’re going to get “the best photo you can get that is going to expose all of the detail that a room or a subject has to offer.”

Or, to put it simply, “you’re going to get a `wow factor.’”

If you want to think of it in terms of TV, Mediamax HDR is Hi-Def vs. the old tube-filled clunker. It’s a handcrafted IPA vs. the mass-produced stuff whose name rhymes with “Stud.” If we’re talking coffee, it’d be Kona. If food, make mine Maine Lobster.

Without dissing standard photography, we all know what a “wow factor” can do for the bottom line as well as the brand. Sometimes you just gotta kick it up a notch.

For images that are out of the ordinary, more realistic, more appealing, more color-rich and full of detail – in other words, for images with the “wow factor,” order HDR Photography by Mediamax today.
