Here’s the View From the Show Floor at CAR 2.0

Mediamax Crew at the CAR 2.0 Convention

As I write this it’s midday at the first day of the CAR Convention and we’ve already had a busy morning. From what I can see it’s a great show — lots of people attending from all over the state. I’ve met people from Grand Junction, Durango, Cortez, Colorado Springs as well as folks closer to home here in the Metro Area.

It’s great to see new faces and plenty of familiar ones as well. For instance, I had a chance to talk to Jim Smith from Golden Realty about his Tesla — you know he’s a big booster of electric vehicles and solar power. Ask him to show you the app he has on his phone that lets him control the temperature of his EV remotely. It’s awesome.

Thanks to lots of you who stopped by to hear my presentations this morning. DId I mention I was busy? I had back to back to back presentations and they all went well. Big interest in video, aerial and luxury marketing for sure. Very exciting to have two of our aerial pilots, Dale Honning and John Koliopoulos, on hand to help me do some show and tell.

Senior Photographer Denise Sheffer is here handing out fliers and collecting business cards for our drawing at the booth.
You can also catch glimpses of our busy Mediamax video crew. Supervising Producer Emily Langner and Videographer/Editor Jason Vaz are here collecting footage for CAR and for future Mediamax productions.

If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll check out our new videos and updated video page on the website. Watch our new Aerial video here.
A special shout out to Marci James, Obeo marketing director, for supplying us with plenty of bling to hand out. The Obeo “Swiss Army Knife” is a big hit.

We’ve collected lots of business cards from attendees, so watch this space. We’ll be announcing the winner of a Aerial Photography Session or Google Virtual Tour soon.

And keep an eye on Mediamax in the coming months. Starting with CAR 2014, we’re going places.
