How to Customize a Flier for Your Mediamax Virtual Tour. It’s Easy – And Fast! | Mediamax Photography | Photography, Video and Virtual Tours for Real Estate and Business

Our new Mediamax Virtual Tour has many outstanding features – like Hi-Def full-screen display of all media and the fact that it’s fully mobile friendly. But here’s something else I think you’re really going to like. It’s fast.

Because most tasks are point-and-click and drag-and-drop, working with it is a breeze. Get in, get things done quickly and get on with your day. Customizing a flier is a great example of what I mean.

Why do I say customize? Because our Mediamax Virtual Tour platform automatically creates a flier for you that’s available as soon as the tour’s published (buyers get it by clicking the Flyer link on the branded tour). See what I mean by fast? But you likely want to put your own finishing touches on the flier, so here’s what you do.

From the My Tours window, click on the tour you want to customize a flier for.

In the Tools window, click the Flyer icon.

Clicking on the icon opens the Customize Flyer window. Notice that the window is divided into two sections. On the left, you see the photos and text that will appear on your flier. On the right are thumbnails of all the available images. Use the scroll bars, if needed.

Some of the images on the right have a green check mark and are grayed out. This means they’ve been automatically selected for the flier.

As noted above, the flier automatically picks up the first 7 photos in your tour. The first photo automatically becomes the feature. More on how to change that in a moment. Similarly, if there’s a property description, the flier automatically picks that up from the Flyer Text box below the photos on the left.

But maybe you want to rearrange the photos, use different ones or make changes to the text. Note: you may also want to save your changes. See Bonus Tip below.

For instance, to make the deck photo the featured image, click on it and hold, then drag-and-drop it over the current feature. The former featured image automatically moves to second place. Likewise you can rearrange the other photos by dragging and dropping them where you want them.

If you want different photos than the automatic selections, find them among the thumbnails on the right and drag and drop them where you want them on the left. Your new selections will have green check marks.

As noted above, the flier automatically picks up the property description you added when you personalized your tour in the Edit Tour window (see editing tips here). If there is no existing description, the Flyer Text box is empty. You can change that in a snap. To add text, just click in the box and start typing. To write something new or edit existing text, highlight what you want to change and type.

Preview your flier at any time. Save your changes if you want to use your revised flier again for this tour. Note: if you don’t save, it’ll just revert to the default. See Bonus Tip below. When you’re ready, click the blue Download PDF button. Or, from the Preview window click either button on the top right – Print to print or PDF to download.

I plan to keep the tips coming on our new Mediamax Virtual Tour. But if you have questions, please feel free to call our local help desk at (303) 988-7497.

Now, through Sept. 30, 2015, get $20 off our new Mediamax Virtual Tour when you use the promo code mediamaxtourlaunch. Order today.

BONUS TIP: If you want to save any changes you make, you must click the Save Flyer button. But don’t save unless, or until, you’re sure, because Save Flyer overwrites the default flier for the tour you’re working on.
