Here’s something you might not know about Erica Chouinard – she has this photo of a baseball diamond as the screensaver on her smartphone.
“It is one of the best photos I’ve ever seen,” she says, describing herself as a “baseball nut.”
But she didn’t find it in the AppStore. Mediamax Senior Photographer Mark May took it for one of her listings. This multimillion-dollar property comes complete with its own baseball field.
She was recently honored as No. 1 in Team Sides and No. 2 in Team Volume by Denver Metro Association of Realtors’ Realtor Roundtable of Excellence. Formerly with The Kentwood Company, she’s now owner/broker of RE/MAX Success in Englewood.
She considers Mediamax and Obeo her “No. 1 marketing weapon.”
Since she cut her teeth in the tough market of the early 2000s, she says she’s tried a little bit of everything, including taking her own photos. But she’s learned it’s “the tried and true, quality photography and virtual tours that hook the buyer.”
She says if people see “low-quality or poorly staged photography, they move on.”
As much as she appreciates Mark May and the rest of our team, she admits she has a favorite.
“There’s just something about how Andy Gould takes a picture of a room. I don’t care if it’s a $200,000 house or a $2 million house, he has this uncanny knack of getting the absolute right angle, the right light where you’re just like, wow. He’s the best.”
I consider this evidence of our deep bench. On any given day, you know we’ve got professionals who can get the shot.
How do they do it?
““You know what,” Chouinard says, “that is the magic of being a gifted photographer. They look at the world differently than you and I do. That’s what I love about the Mediamax photographers. I can trust them to look at one of my listings and they’re going to see it in its best perspective and its best light and they convey that through their lens.”
