To Show You’re in the Know, Go Hyper Local | Mediamax Photography | Photography, Video and Virtual Tours for Real Estate and Business

“Consumers aren’t just looking for signs that you’re `in’ the business. They want to know you `know’ the business,” writes Jovan Hackley on the Trulia Pro Blog.

One way to demonstrate what you know is with a pile of data. But numbers can only go so far in establishing your expertise. Even better is to go “hyper local.” By talking up the community you serve, you become the “go-to realtor” people call first.

Here’s a great example of what I’m talking about. Tom LaRocque over at Denver House Pros is using hyper local marketing to a tee. He recently featured a Google Virtual Tour we did for The Brush and Comb salon on his blog.

LaRocque puts neighborhood photos on his home page to dial in the idea that he knows what he’s talking about. Click a photo and you find fun restaurant reviews, neighborhood news, even information on local school lunches (from a real insider, a student, no less).

You not only see but feel the connection he has to his community, and you wind up feeling like you’ve gotten to know LaRocque. This is the appeal of the good old “soft sell” – aka hyper local marketing, content marketing, niche marketing, whatever you want to call it. It gets past the barriers people normally put up and makes future contact easier and much more likely.

Mediamax Photography Agency can provide the exceptional visual imagery you need to create a winning hyper local marketing strategy. From neighborhood photos to neighborhood videos, we can help you brand yourself as the realtor to know because you’re the realtor who knows.
